Structured Learning in Grade 2: The Book of the Rainbow
Myrtel continues to accompany the children in the second grade as a butterfly. As a rainbow fans open, so do the teaching areas of reading, spelling, language study, writing, speaking and listening, lead the students in a colorful and varied way through the year. The Book of the Rainbow is divided into 14 topics. Text, grammar and spelling are all thematically coordinated. Opportunities to accommodate different levels, as well as an abundance of spelling exercises, are integrated in the book.
In addition, there is an extensive Teacher’s Manual including a CD with didactic commentary, a variety of suggestions for games, as well as an assortment of suggestions for work stations in the classroom dealing with all areas of learning German. The Teacher’s Manual comes as a collection of loose-leaf pages, held together by a ring binder allowing for individual pages to be taken out if required. The manual is enyclopedic in nature and encompasses over 500 colorfully designed and clearly structured work pages for the students.
