Global Learning in Grade 4/5: Fit for Five
Bo, Murello, Quips and Emilio are the German class coaches of the index card file "Fit for Five". Interesting factual information about the four elements water, fire, air and earth are linked here, with the acquiring and repetition of German language basics in the areas of language study and spelling.
More than 200 colorful attractively designed index cards in the A4 landscape format motivate students to develop independent, individual and flexible working habits. Through the systematic acquisition and repetition of grammar and spelling, interconnected learning takes place against a setting of vivid, expert knowledge in the areas of the four elements: water, fire, air and earth. The exercises are laid out in such a way that the answers can be written either in a notebook or onto a transparency directly on the index cards.
Along with it comes a Teacher’s Manual containing additional study materials, solutions to the exercises, and self-regulating tests for students, as well as learning games, English pages, final tests and detailed suggestions for "Story writing".
