Teachers

The program "Myrtel and Bo" offers a multitude of advantages to teachers:

  • innovative lessons using a variety of methods
  • more free time as a result of well-structured materials
  • an easy start for beginning teachers
  • instruction can be easily continued by substitute teachers
  • preparation time is reduced because no photocopying is necessary
  • accompanying teacher workshops provide additional inspiration
  • therapeutic elements are easily implemented

L. Kovacev-Töwe, secondary school teacher, qualified pedagogue (Hamburg)

Since grade 1 we have been working with Myrtel and Bo. At this time we are on treasure hunt through Europe – class 3c.

What I like about "Myrtel":

  • Holistic concept: all five areas of the German language subject which I have to teach and mark are covered
  • Multi-disciplinary: German, English, general knowledge, art, music and dance united in one program, relating to a certain main topic, such as language, art, culture, sports in France
  • Saving time with beautiful working materials – less copying costs and expenditure of energy for me as a teacher
  • High Motivation of the children to work in Myrtel’s Treasure Hunt
  • Competence and completeness of the qualified materials: I hardly have to complement anything, I don’t have to gather things together from many different teaching programs
  • The central theme or littel Myrtel which / who in elementary school runs through the entire program
  • Inspiration for me, to nevertheless walk my own way with extra projects or little workshops, but then I happily come back to Myrtel.

All in all: The promotion of emotion, competence and creativity in my students by Myrtel is reflected in their enthusiasm for learning and their high performance capability.

R. Altmeyer, elementary school teacher (Hamburg)

I especially liked that Myrtel and Bo steadfastly makes learning possible using the whole body and all of the senses.

The 30 children of my class took a lot of pleasure in ‚Learning in Motion’. They learned the letters of the alphabet and sounds easily, as well as the synthesis. The little Myrtel reading booklets have from the very beginning been a popular additional reading practice.
